Please join us for our 7th Annual Peer Advocacy Conference,

"Peers United: Creating a Spark"

Join us as we get back to our roots of self-advocacy and peer-led discussions.  Workshops will include disability history, power of grass-roots advocacy, identifying your passion, sharing your story, and leadership opportunities. There will also be fun activities like Advocacy through Art, and a viewing of the movie Crip Camp.

Michael Beers is a comedian and professional speaker.
He won the Norman G. Brooks Comedy Competition
at the Hollywood Improv in 2005. He was also the
previous winner of Funny Fest (Calgary Comedy
Festival) and has opened for comedians like Gilbert
Gottfried. He is a sought-after keynote speaker on
topics like humor, disability advocacy, education and
community building.

*Travel stipends may be available for individuals with a disability.
